  1. My grandmother had some of these on her piano for us kids to learn but the came part way onto the keys and laid flat on top. The letter for the note was closer to where the fingers would actually strike the key. Have you seen anything like that?

      Hi Aimee, no, I haven’t, but I think it would be fairly easy to adapt my keyboard overlays into something similar. My only concern would be that if they come too far down the key, they might get in the way of the fingers. In some positions, particularly when playing chords, the fingers strike the keys quite high up. I t would certainly be worth experimenting though. Thanks for your input!

  4. Thanks for the printable keyboard overlays! My grandkids were visiting from out of town. They are new piano students, and brought their music to show their new skills, but needed the overlay that had inadvertently been left at home. This was perfect, and their mom wants to tell their teacher about the website so other students of hers can use your resources.
